What my Saturday is:wilkum to read:

Today as my tradition takes hold, Saturday to me is cooking day, mostly my favorites are at the table.
I have made a shoofly pie! YUm YUMMMMMM this has to be the best of my desert platter. Tonight will be chicken pie,mashed idaho potatoes & corn. Then for my pie. I will be canning tomatoes from my garden & berries& herbs for my tart's & jellies.
I have made a blanket from the wool,which should of taken me 3 days but I have been a bit distracted and took me a week 1/2 from the farm & hope to have a good upcoming winter. I do miss all my family & friends to hope that someday they understand the choice I have made. My cow's & horse,the sheep were my brother's responsibility so I won't miss that) but do miss the early morning milking.
I have found this journal somewhat complicated & some people not so open & friendly,sadly. But I have great faith that I will find my place in whatever I achieve.
Until later I must get to my chores & finish my canning.
